According to Reuters, Arsenal announced the extension on Wednesday.

The agreement gives Arsenal continuity following a season in which they won the league and reached the Champions League final, losing to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.
The Guardian reports that Arteta’s coaching staff have also signed extended deals.
Arsenal co-chairs Stan and Josh Kroenke backed the manager to build on those achievements, while Arteta described the renewed commitment as “only the beginning” of what the club could achieve.
His immediate task is to restore momentum when Arsenal face Leeds after the international break. A 3–0 defeat at Brighton ended their perfect start to the league campaign.
The former Arsenal captain also won the FA Cup during his first season in charge and helped restore the club to regular Champions League football.
