Queensberry
Profile
Queensberry Promotions is Frank Warren's company and one of the two promotional houses that have run British boxing for a generation. Warren held his first licensed show in 1980 at the Bloomsbury Crest Hotel in London and has worked in the professional ranks for roughly 45 years; the company's own history counts more than a thousand events and more than 150 world champions promoted, with Warren inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June 2008.
Fighters and shows
The roster over the years has included Naseem Hamed, whose 1995 win over Steve Robinson at Cardiff Arms Park made him Britain's youngest world champion, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Joe Calzaghe, Ricky Hatton and Amir Khan. Today its headline names are Tyson Fury, whose WBC title reign and trilogy with Deontay Wilder it promoted, Daniel Dubois, Joe Joyce and the young heavyweight Moses Itauma.
Broadcasting
Warren signed an exclusive deal with BSkyB in 1995, co-founded the BoxNation channel that launched in 2011, and the company now works with DAZN. In 2024 Team Queensberry beat Team Matchroom 10-0 in the Queensberry v Matchroom 5v5 event in Riyadh, and Warren received a lifetime achievement award at the Sports Industry Awards in May 2025.
Fury v Joshua
For the Fury v Joshua fight at the Principality Stadium on 11 December 2026 Queensberry is listed by the British Boxing Board of Control as a promoter alongside Matchroom Boxing and Sela, with Netflix streaming the card worldwide. Warren has said he accepts the broadcaster's late ring-walk requirement, and that Wembley's curfew could not have accommodated the start time.
