About dave.sport

Dave.Sport covers four sports properly: football, rugby, darts and boxing. We cover the Premier League and the EFL, Scottish and European football, rugby union and rugby league, the PDC darts calendar and British and world title boxing.

Who writes dave.sport

Our news is written by James Chettle, a football journalist and journalism graduate of the University of Liverpool. He writes our news, match reports, player ratings and analysis, supported by our Editors Jack Shaw and Matt Price.

Honest about AI

Every article on dave.sport is written by a named person. If we ever use AI to help produce an article, we will say so clearly on the article itself. You can read our approach in How we use AI.

Where we came from

dave.sport brings together our earlier dave.sport coverage and Nine Darts News, which is now our darts section. Older articles from both sites are kept here at new addresses, and old links redirect automatically.

Who is responsible

Our Editors are accountable for everything we publish. If we get something wrong, we correct it in the open and log it on our corrections page.

Get the best of it every morning with our free sports newsletter. You can read who owns and funds us on our ownership and funding page, and play our free games: the Predictor, 5-a-Dave and Dave-7s.
