How our transfer feed works
Dave.Sport's live transfer feed pulls together every transfer story involving Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two and Scottish Premiership clubs, from the first hint of interest to the moment a deal is confirmed. Each story is checked against the original report, labelled with the stage the deal has reached and rated by how reliable the source is, so you can tell a club announcement from a long-shot rumour at a glance.
The feed is run by our sister site TransferNews.Football, which has the full live transfer blog, a done deals tracker and a transfer page for every club. For match coverage, team news and the rest of the day's football, head to Dave.Sport Football.
What the labels mean
- Rumour Interest A club is linked with a player. Treat with caution until a reliable reporter backs it up.
- Talks Bid Close Clubs are negotiating, an offer has been made, or a deal is near.
- Done deal Official The move is complete or confirmed by the club.
Transfer news FAQs
Where can I follow live transfer news?
Right here. This feed shows every Premier League, EFL and Scottish transfer story as it lands, from rumours and bids through to done deals. It is powered by our sister site TransferNews.Football, which runs the full live transfer blog, a done deals tracker and a page for every club.
How often is the transfer feed updated?
New stories are checked every few minutes throughout the day, and this page refreshes itself every minute while you have it open. When something new lands you will see a button at the top of the feed to load it.
How reliable are the transfer rumours?
Every story is labelled with its stage (interest, talks, bid, close, done deal or official) and rated by how reliable the original source is. Tier 1 means the most dependable reporters and the clubs themselves; lower tiers are shown as rumours and treated with caution.
What counts as a done deal?
A done deal is a transfer or loan that a club has confirmed, or that the most reliable reporters say is complete. Done deals are marked in green and collected on the TransferNews.Football done deals page.
Which leagues do you cover?
The Premier League, the Championship, League One, League Two and the Scottish Premiership, plus moves involving those clubs from anywhere in the world.
Can I get transfer news for just my club?
Yes. Use the club picker on this page, or tap a club badge on any story, to open that club's own transfer page on TransferNews.Football with every rumour and deal involving them.
