Dave.Sport is for the fans, by the fans, with a little help from AI. We're building a team of fan reporters for every football and rugby club, plus fans who live and breathe darts and boxing. Film on your phone from anywhere, and we do the rest: editing, publishing and turning your video into a written article with your byline.

Must be 18 or over to apply

How it works

  2. 2ApplyTwo minutes: your club or sport, where you are, and why you.
  3. 3Check your emailWe reply from hey@dave.sport within 48 hours.
  4. 4Send us a 90-second test videoFilmed on your phone. Vertical is best.
  5. 5Join the teamYour profile, your byline and your first piece live.

All Fan Reporter roles are voluntary, with no set hours or quotas. Must be 18 or over to apply.

Student journalists: get your work published

If you are a journalism student — or any student who wants to write about sport — and you want your work published under your own byline on a real sports news site, we want to hear from you. You will write match reports, previews and features with an editor's support, learn how a modern AI-assisted newsroom works, and build a portfolio of live, published, searchable work. Flexible hours around your studies; football, rugby, darts and boxing all welcome. Must be 18 or over.
