Andoni Iraola has delivered a cautious Liverpool injury update, keeping open the possibility of returns for Alexander Isak, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai against Brentford.

All three missed the defeat by Manchester City and Wednesday’s 6–3 Champions League victory at LASK. Their involvement this weekend remains unconfirmed.
Liverpool injury update leaves trio in contention
“They were not ready for last night, we have to wait and see,” Iraola said at Thursday’s press conference, in comments reported by This Is Anfield.
The head coach pointed to Friday’s training session and explained that, unlike before the previous matches, he was leaving open the chance of their involvement.
Isak has been dealing with a thigh problem, Gakpo an ankle injury and Szoboszlai a hamstring issue following the international break.
