Women’s Series finale

Deta Hedman and Vicky Pruim head towards the Women’s Series finale separated by just £50 in the race for a place at the PDC World Darts Championship.

The final four tournaments take place in Wigan on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October, bringing the 24-event season to a close.

According to Darts World’s assessment following Event 20, Hedman holds the last qualifying position, narrowly ahead of Pruim.

That leaves little room for an early defeat across a weekend offering four separate opportunities to earn ranking money.

What is at stake in the Women’s Series finale?

Darts World reports that Lisa Ashton has already secured her World Championship place, while Fallon Sherrock and Gemma Hayter hold advantages over the chasing players.

Hedman moved ahead of Pruim during the previous block of events in Leicester. The Swede remains close enough to reverse their positions in Wigan.

The qualification picture also reflects Beau Greaves’ success through other routes, with Darts World reporting that her Women’s World Matchplay victory opened an additional Women’s Series place.

When are the final events?

The 2026 tournament calendar lists:

  • Saturday 10 October: Events 21 and 22, Wigan.
  • Sunday 11 October: Events 23 and 24, Wigan.

Each event is a separate knockout tournament, giving players another chance after a defeat.

For Hedman and Pruim, the important result may therefore be how far they progress relative to each other, rather than whether either lifts a trophy.
