Myles Lewis-Skelly will miss England’s next Nations League match against Croatia through suspension after being booked in the 3–0 win over Czech Republic.
The Arsenal midfielder received a yellow card in the 53rd minute at Wembley for pulling back Pavel Sulc.
The booking rules him out of November’s home fixture, according to the Guardian’s match report.
Lewis-Skelly unavailable for Croatia visit
Lewis-Skelly had also been booked in England’s 2–0 victory in Prague on 29 September, as recorded in the FA’s report of that match.
His absence leaves Thomas Tuchel with a midfield selection decision when England resume their campaign at Wembley on Thursday 12 November.
England then travel to Spain on Sunday 15 November to complete their league-phase fixtures.
Lewis-Skelly returned to the starting line-up against Czech Republic, featuring alongside Elliot Anderson in a side which finished the international break with three consecutive victories.
Harry Kane scored twice after Vladimir Coufal’s own goal to secure the win, taking England to nine points from four matches.
The captain also equalled Peter Shilton’s men’s appearance record with his 125th cap, while Lewis-Skelly’s suspension creates an enforced change for the next international window.
