Dominic Solanke scored a stoppage-time equaliser as ten-man Tottenham rescued a 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Bryan Mbeumo’s 73rd-minute opener appeared to have put United on course for victory, particularly when Spurs substitute Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off five minutes later.
But Solanke struck from Sandro Tonali’s assist in the second minute of added time to earn the visitors a point.

After a goalless first half, United made three changes in the 59th minute, introducing Carlos Baleba, Diogo Dalot and Joshua Zirkzee for Youri Tielemans, Leny Yoro and Amad Diallo.
Tottenham responded with a double substitution seven minutes later, bringing on Bentancur and Omar Marmoush.
Mbeumo then gave United the lead, with Matheus Cunha providing the assist.
Spurs’ task became harder in the 78th minute when Bentancur received a straight red card for violent conduct, just 12 minutes after his introduction.
Solanke denies United victory
Despite their numerical disadvantage, Tottenham found an equaliser through Solanke, leaving United unable to protect their narrow lead.
Both sides finished with 12 shots and an equal share of possession. United registered four efforts on target to Tottenham’s three, although Spurs created four big chances to the hosts’ one.
Referee Stuart Attwell also showed seven yellow cards during the match, with four going to United players and three to Tottenham.
United introduced Ayden Heaven and Marcus Rashford after the equaliser, but neither side found a winner.
