Sam Coffey is back in Manchester City’s matchday squad for their Women’s Super League visit to London City Lionesses, with the midfielder named among the substitutes.

The London City vs Man City line-ups see Khadija Shaw lead the visitors’ attack, supported by Lauren Hemp and Aoba Fujino. Alex Greenwood captains City, while Mary Earps starts in goal for the hosts.

Kick-off is at noon GMT on Sunday 1 November, with live coverage on Sky Sports Premier League.

Manchester City team news: Coffey available from the bench

Coffey’s inclusion settles one of City’s main fitness questions before the match. Andrée Jeglertz had said he hoped the midfielder would be available, and she takes a place on the bench.

In his pre-match update, Jeglertz also reported no fresh injury concerns following Thursday’s Champions League draw with Paris Saint-Germain.

Yui Hasegawa, Laura Blindkilde Brown and Grace Clinton are also selected. Shaw starts up front, with Mary Fowler and Vivianne Miedema not both named among the substitutes: the confirmed bench is listed below.
