Mohamed Belloumi came off the bench to earn Hull City a 2–2 draw against Everton after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had helped turn the match around at the MKM Stadium.

Dewsbury-Hall scored Everton’s equaliser and set up Thierno Barry to put the visitors ahead, but Belloumi struck six minutes later to rescue a point.

The result extends Everton’s unbeaten Premier League start to six matches, although four have ended in draws.

Hull 2-2 Everton: substitutes combine for equaliser

After a goalless first half, Joe Gelhardt put Hull ahead in the 48th minute from Sorba Thomas’s assist.

Everton responded seven minutes later through Dewsbury-Hall, who was supplied by Ainsley Maitland-Niles. The midfielder then turned provider for Barry’s 68th-minute goal to complete the visitors’ comeback.

Hull’s response came through two players introduced together in the 64th minute.

Elliot Stroud, who replaced Ryan Giles, provided the assist for Belloumi to equalise in the 74th minute. The goalscorer had taken over from Gelhardt, with both of Hull’s scorers appearing in the same attacking role.
