Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the standout performer in Everton’s 2–2 draw at Hull City, scoring one goal and creating another before Mohamed Belloumi came off the bench to earn the hosts a point.

Everton had more possession and chances, but could not protect the lead Thierno Barry gave them in the 68th minute. Belloumi equalised six minutes later, as detailed in our Hull–Everton match report.

Hull vs Everton ratings: the standout performers

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall — 9/10

Central to Everton’s second-half turnaround. Dewsbury-Hall equalised in the 55th minute from Ainsley Maitland-Niles’s assist, then supplied Barry for the visitors’ second goal.

His four key passes underline his influence beyond those two decisive contributions. Everton created enough opportunities to win, and Dewsbury-Hall was at the heart of their attacking work.

Mohamed Belloumi — 7.5/10

Hull’s highest-rated player despite starting on the bench. Introduced for opening goalscorer Joe Gelhardt in the 64th minute, Belloumi needed just 10 minutes to make his mark.

Fellow substitute Elliot Stroud provided the assist for his equaliser, with the pair combining to rescue Hull after Everton had overturned their lead.

Everton’s chances tell the story

Everton finished with 65% possession, 15 shots and eight big chances. Hull managed nine shots and two big chances, but matched the visitors where it mattered.

The draw continued Everton’s unbeaten start under David Moyes, while Belloumi’s intervention ensured Hull also took something from an eventful second half.
