Alisson takes top marks in our Crystal Palace vs Liverpool player ratings after a series of important saves helped the visitors secure a 3-1 win at Selhurst Park.
Florian Wirtz scored and supplied Alexander Isak’s late goal, while Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring. Yet Liverpool’s goalkeeper was just as important to the outcome, denying Palace the opportunities which might have changed the contest.
Eddie Nketiah’s stoppage-time penalty provided little consolation for the hosts. Their attacking moments were more encouraging than the scoreline suggested, but Liverpool were more decisive in both penalty areas.
Marks are out of 10 and represent Dave.Sport’s editorial assessment of the published match reporting. NR means there was insufficient involvement to award a mark.

Dean Henderson — 6
Three goals conceded does not tell the whole story. Made saves to deny Wirtz and Isak, but Palace repeatedly left themselves vulnerable to Liverpool’s attacking quality.
Daichi Kamada — 6
One of the players who gave Palace a route into the contest. His volley brought an important save from Alisson, underlining the difference the Liverpool goalkeeper made.
Yéremy Pino — 5
Had an opportunity to change the closing stages but could not beat Alisson. Palace needed a more clinical contribution from one of their principal attacking threats.
Substitute impact: Eddie Nketiah — 7
Made a positive contribution, helping create a late opening for Pino before converting the stoppage-time penalty. His involvement supplied some urgency to Palace’s attack.

Alisson — 9: Dave.Sport player of the match
The margin of victory could easily disguise his importance. His interventions against Kamada and Pino protected Liverpool at moments when Palace still had a way back.
Florian Wirtz — 8
Finished Barcola’s delivery to double the lead, then supplied Isak for Liverpool’s third. Two decisive contributions from a player whose quality made the difference when space opened up.
Alexis Mac Allister — 8
His header broke the deadlock and changed the demands on Palace. Liverpool needed that breakthrough before the interval, and the midfielder delivered it.
Dominik Szoboszlai — 8
Provided the free-kick delivery for Mac Allister’s opener. His contribution to the first goal helped Liverpool turn an awkward contest in their favour.
Milos Kerkez — 5
The late penalty conceded against Anan Khalaili took some of the gloss off Liverpool’s afternoon and cost Alisson a clean sheet.
Liverpool substitutes
Trey Nyoni — 6; Víctor Muñoz — 6; Rio Ngumoha — 6. Liverpool maintained their advantage after the changes, although the decisive attacking contributions came from the starting players.
