Christian Walton — 3
His attempt to take the ball around Evanilson proved costly. It was an avoidable mistake which immediately left Ipswich chasing the game.

Offered a threat as Ipswich tried to recover, with his shooting providing some of their more promising moments. One of the home players who looked capable of changing the result.
Abdoul Ouattara — 6
Won the penalty which restored hope when Lewis Cook fouled him. That contribution helped keep the contest alive into the closing stages.
Leif Davis — 5
Unfortunate to be credited with the own goal after Ryan Christie’s effort took deflections. The outcome was damaging, but the incident should not be treated as equivalent to Walton’s opening mistake.

Alert enough to punish Walton and give Bournemouth an early advantage. His involvement in the move for the second goal added to a performance which had a direct influence on the outcome.
Ryan Christie — 8
His effort brought the own goal which ultimately separated the teams. Bournemouth benefited from the deflections, but Christie’s willingness to shoot created the opportunity.
