Jill Baijings returns to Aston Villa’s bench for Sunday’s Women’s Super League meeting with Man Utd at Villa Park after more than a year out with a knee injury.

The midfielder is among Villa’s substitutes following her rehabilitation from an anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in September 2025. The match is scheduled to kick off at 12pm UK time on Sunday 8 November.

Baijings returns to Villa squad

Villa confirmed Baijings was available again in their player availability update. Rachel Daly, Kamilla Melgård, Ellie Roebuck, Lily Clark and Emily Ramsey remain unavailable.

The hosts come into the game unbeaten in four WSL matches, having drawn at Arsenal last weekend. United are unbeaten in six league games after losing their opening two fixtures.
