A milestone afternoon for Bunny Shaw

The hat-trick marked Shaw’s 150th City appearance in style. Her goals either side of half-time put the hosts in control before she returned to finish the job following Fujino and Beney’s contributions.

City had led only 1-0 at the break, but their four goals between the 53rd and 74th minutes turned the match into a comprehensive victory.

For West Ham, the defeat followed their 4-1 league win over Liverpool the previous weekend. They now turn their attention to a home meeting with Charlton Athletic.

City face Inter Milan in the Women’s Champions League before travelling to Chelsea for their next WSL fixture.
