Jarrad Branthwaite starts for Everton against Coventry City, with Thierno Barry leading the home attack and Taiwo Awoniyi named in the visitors’ XI.
The Everton vs Coventry line-ups are confirmed for Friday’s Premier League meeting at Hill Dickinson Stadium. David Moyes includes Tyler Dibling, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Tyrique George, while Frank Lampard’s side feature Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Jack Rudoni and Yann Gboho.
Branthwaite’s inclusion follows a fitness check after he was withdrawn with cramp during Monday’s win at Newcastle. Moyes had said Everton were monitoring the defender in the club’s pre-match team-news update.

Branthwaite available as Lampard faces former club
Branthwaite’s availability is the main fitness development for Everton after Moyes expressed hope that he would be ready for Friday night.
The match also brings Lampard back to face the club he managed until January 2023. His Coventry side must contend with an Everton attack led by Barry, with Dibling, Dewsbury-Hall and George also starting.
