Nicolas Dominguez has suffered an injury setback ahead of Nottingham Forest’s game against Manchester City, but Igor Jesus has given Oliver Glasner a more positive update.

Nottingham Forest vs Man City takes place at the City Ground on Saturday 7 November 2026, with kick-off at 5.30pm GMT.

Dominguez sidelined; Jesus back in training

Glasner said Dominguez could miss up to eight weeks after a setback on his return to training, according to the BBC’s press-conference summary. Earlier previews describing him only as a doubt have been overtaken by that update.

Jesus has trained throughout the week without a reaction. Nicolo Savona is working towards minutes during the international break rather than an immediate league return.

Thursday’s wider team-news round-up also notes that Daniel Munoz has been managing a foot issue. His condition is relevant to the right wing-back decision.

Manchester City injury update

Antoine Semenyo remains out with a knee injury. City’s latest injury round-up lists no suspended players for this fixture.

That gives Maresca scope to rotate without treating every change as an injury issue. Any decision involving Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol or Jeremy Doku should be distinguished from confirmed unavailability.
