Daniel Larsson Tops PDCNB ProTour as Rasmus and Graversen Win Titles

Daniel Larsson seals top spot on the PDCNB ProTour to book his World Darts Championship place, as Petri Rasmus and Jonas Graversen secure inaugural titles.

The Daniel Larsson PDCNB ProTour story reached its conclusion in Tallinn, and it finished exactly the way the Swede would have wanted.

Larsson topped the season’s Nordic and Baltic standings to book his place at the Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

That achievement was sealed as two more players lifted their first ProTour titles at the Estonian double header, giving the weekend a genuine sense of occasion beyond the qualification places at stake.

Cor Dekker’s second place finish confirms his own trip to Alexandra Palace, while Jani Haavisto rounds out the top three.

Behind them, Petri Rasmus and Jonas Graversen both claimed maiden PDCNB crowns.

Rasmus survived a remarkable finish against Teemu Harju, and Graversen saw off Viktor Tingstrom in the second final of the weekend.

Between them, the two finals summed up everything that makes the ProTour circuit worth following: nerve, consistency and, in one case, a genuinely dramatic collapse.

PDCNB Tallinn Double-Header Executive Summary & Final Standings

Two events, two new champions and one settled question at the top of the table. Larsson’s consistency across the PDCNB ProTour season paid off in Tallinn.

He secured top spot on the standings and, with it, direct qualification for the World Darts Championship, a reward for a campaign built on steady points accumulation rather than any single standout result.

Cor Dekker’s second place finish matters just as much for his own career. It guarantees him a first appearance on the sport’s biggest stage at Alexandra Palace, alongside Larsson.

Jani Haavisto’s third place finish falls just short of that direct route. It still stands as a strong return for a player who has been near the top of the Nordic and Baltic rankings all year, and it keeps him firmly in the conversation heading into the next campaign.

Beyond the top three, the wider field had plenty to play for. The top 24 players on the final PDCNB ProTour standings all qualified for the PDC Nordic & Baltic Championship, which will be staged in Denmark.

That depth of qualification means the Tallinn weekend carried weight far beyond the two trophies on offer. Places were at stake up and down the leaderboard, not just at the summit, and every leg played in Estonia had some bearing on where players finished.

Those two trophies still provided plenty of drama in their own right. Rasmus and Graversen both walked away from Tallinn as ProTour winners for the first time, and each did it in contrasting fashion.

One had to dig his way back from the brink of defeat, while the other closed out his final with control from start to finish.

Together, the two results gave the Tallinn double header a satisfying symmetry: a season defined by consistency at the top ended with fresh names breaking through underneath it.

Petri Rasmus Edges Teemu Harju in Event 11 Thriller

Event 11 delivered the kind of final that decides careers as well as titles. Teemu Harju looked to be cruising towards the trophy when he moved 5-3 ahead.

He needed just one more set to close the match out and deny Rasmus a first ProTour win, and for long stretches of the contest that outcome looked close to a formality.

Rasmus had other ideas. He clawed his way back into the contest, levelling the match and forcing a deciding set that neither player wanted to give up.

Harju had six match darts across the closing stages of that final set. Any one of them would have sealed the title in his favour, and each miss seemed to raise the tension further inside the venue.

He missed every one of them. Rasmus held his nerve at the moment it mattered most. He took the set and the match 6-5 to complete one of the great comebacks of the PDCNB ProTour season.

It is his first title on the circuit, and it will be remembered as much for Harju’s misses as for Rasmus’s composure under real pressure. Few finals on the Nordic and Baltic tour this year will match it for tension.

Jonas Graversen Claims Event 12 Title Over Viktor Tingstrom

Event 12 did not carry the same late twist, but it mattered just as much to the man lifting the trophy.

Jonas Graversen defeated Viktor Tingstrom 6-4 in the final to secure his maiden PDCNB ProTour title.

The result puts his name alongside Rasmus on the list of first time winners from the Tallinn weekend, and it caps a season in which he had knocked on the door of a title without quite getting through it.

Tingstrom arrived in Estonia with a reputation already growing among Nordic and Baltic followers.

That was due in no small part to his shock win over Stephen Bunting at the Nordic Darts Masters. That form carried him to a second ProTour final in Tallinn, and it meant Graversen faced an opponent with genuine belief and recent big-stage experience behind him.

Graversen proved the stronger player across the match, though, closing out the six sets he needed without the late alarm that Harju suffered in the earlier final.

For Graversen, the 6-4 scoreline caps a season in which the title had looked overdue. Reaching a first PDCNB ProTour final is one thing.

Converting it against a player in the kind of form Tingstrom showed in Tallinn is another, and it is why this win carries extra weight for the new champion. It also means the Tallinn weekend produced two debut champions rather than one, a rare outcome for a double header of this size.

Full details of the weekend, including the wider standings behind Larsson, Dekker and Haavisto, are available in the PDC report.

With the Daniel Larsson PDCNB ProTour campaign now settled at the top, attention on the Nordic and Baltic scene turns to Denmark, where the top 24 from these standings will contest the PDC Nordic & Baltic Championship.
