Cardiff vs Burnley injury news includes potential returns for Krystian Bielik and Zeki Amdouni ahead of Saturday’s Championship meeting. Neither player’s involvement has been confirmed, while Cardiff defender Perry Ng is a doubt after coming off against West Ham.

The clubs meet at Cardiff City Stadium at 3pm GMT on Saturday 7 November, with both managers assessing their options before the international break.

Cardiff injury news: Bielik could ease defensive problems

Brian Barry-Murphy hopes Bielik can return after missing Cardiff’s previous three matches. His ability to operate in defence or midfield would give the head coach more flexibility.

“Hopefully Krystian Bielik may be back for Saturday,” Barry-Murphy said in the latest report on Cardiff’s fitness concerns. “That will be a big boost for us all.”

Cardiff have also been without Dylan Lawlor and Calum Chambers, with Joel Bagan used in central defence during Wednesday’s 3-3 draw with West Ham.

Perry Ng doubtful as Robertson needs assessment

Ng was forced off against West Ham and remains a doubt. Barry-Murphy also said Alex Robertson would be checked again.

There was a more encouraging assessment of Calum Scanlon. The defender was experiencing stiffness, but his manager expected him to be fine.

Gabriel Osho is available following a three-match suspension, while Ronan Kpakio could deputise for Ng, according to Sports Mole’s team-news preview.

Burnley injury news: Zeki Amdouni returns to training

Fabio Celestini is hopeful Amdouni can feature after returning to training. The final decision depends on how the forward responds to that work.

“I think he’s available,” Celestini said in the Hayters fitness update. He added: “We will have to see tomorrow, but it’s positive.”

That leaves Amdouni in contention rather than confirmed fit to start.

Broja remains sidelined as Humphreys progresses

Celestini described Armando Broja’s absence as longer-term. Bashir Humphreys is progressing, but the head coach suggested late November or early December as a possible comeback window.

Neither update points to a return against Cardiff. Hannibal Mejbri and Dastan Satpaev also remain sidelined in Sports Mole’s latest preview.
