Eddie Hearn says he is open to TKO producing Tyson Fury’s fight with Anthony Joshua, provided the parties reach an agreement that respects existing contracts.

Joshua’s promoter addressed the dispute during an interview with Ariel Helwani on Tuesday, following conflicting public statements about Dana White’s involvement in the event.

“I don’t necessarily care if TKO produces the event, but contractually, it’s a breach,” Hearn said, in comments reported by MMA Fighting.

Eddie Hearn leaves room for talks

Hearn indicated that he would discuss a potential arrangement, while maintaining that TKO could not assume a production role under the current terms.

His comments leave room for negotiations but do not announce a resolution.

White has publicly maintained that his team will be involved in producing and promoting the fight. Hearn has disputed that position, citing Joshua’s contractual arrangements.

Fury and Joshua due to meet in December

The heavyweight contest is scheduled for 11 December in Cardiff, with Netflix broadcasting the event.

The production disagreement concerns who will deliver the show and the terms of their involvement. Hearn’s latest comments do not establish that the fight has been cancelled or moved.

There is also a separate question over its championship status, with Murat Gassiev seeking clarification from the WBA following reports that Fury and Joshua will contest the organisation’s Super title.

For now, Hearn has signalled a willingness to negotiate without confirming a new agreement.
