Brighton Confirmed Lineup vs Jablonec: Rutter Starts in Eight Changes

Brighton have made eight changes for their Conference League match at Jablonec, with Georginio Rutter returning to the starting XI and Pascal Gross taking the captain’s armband.

Bart Verbruggen, Olivier Boscagli and Gross are the only players retained from the side that started Sunday’s 5–0 victory over Crystal Palace. Lewis Dunk is among the substitutes as Fabian Hürzeler reshuffles his team for the trip to Czechia.

Brighton confirmed XI against Jablonec

Starting XI: Bart Verbruggen, Jaouen Hadjam, Jack Hinshelwood, Georginio Rutter, Pascal Gross (captain), Ibrahim Osman, Costinha, Olivier Boscagli, Michael Svoboda, Matt O’Riley, Malick Yalcouyé.

Substitutes: Tom McGill, Steven Hall, Lewis Dunk, Promise David, Chema Andrés, Charalampos Kostoulas, Ferdi Kadıoğlu, Yasin Ayari, Luka Vušković, Nehemiah Oriola, Shane Nti, Younes Ibrahim.

Rutter, Hinshelwood and O’Riley get another European start

Rutter starts after scoring twice in Brighton’s 4–0 win over Kauno Žalgiris in their opening league-phase fixture.

Hinshelwood and O’Riley also scored that night, meaning all three of Brighton’s goalscorers from the European opener are in the starting side again. Hinshelwood added another goal from the bench against Palace on Sunday.

Osman and Yalcouyé also come into the XI, while Costinha, Svoboda and Hadjam join Boscagli among the defensive options selected from the start.

Dunk, Vušković, Kadıoğlu, Chema Andrés, Ayari and Kostoulas move to the bench. Diego Gómez and Maxim De Cuyper, who both started against Palace, are not listed in the matchday squad.

The bench still gives Hürzeler several established options if changes are needed, including Kostoulas after his goal and assist in the derby victory.
