Which non-league clubs have the biggest opportunities?

Oxford City’s home tie against Leicester is among the standout draws, while AFC Rushden & Diamonds will visit Burton Albion after reaching the first round for the first time.

There is also a guaranteed place in the second round for either Plymouth Parkway or Berkhamsted. Both clubs are making their first appearance at this stage.

Bradford’s meeting with Marine follows a weekend in which City moved top of League One.

For Tadley Calleva, the prospect of a trip to Barnsley remains conditional. They must first get past Aldershot in Tuesday’s replay after drawing 2-2 away from home.

Last year we all witness the early go for Maldon & Tiptree F.C. at Port Vale in the first round FA Cup last year.

When are the remaining qualifying replays?

The 11 outstanding fourth qualifying round replays are scheduled for Tuesday 20 October.

Their results will complete the first-round field and confirm opponents for clubs including Mansfield, Luton, Barnsley, Chesterfield and Plymouth Argyle.

When are the first-round matches, and will they be on TV?

The round is scheduled across the weekend of Saturday 7 November 2026.

The FA has said that individual fixture arrangements and broadcast selections will follow. The draw therefore does not mean every match will take place on the Saturday or kick off at 3pm.

How much is FA Cup first-round prize money?

First-round winners will receive £47,750, while defeated clubs will collect £15,800 from the competition’s prize fund.

The amounts and round dates are confirmed in the FA’s official draw announcement. The winner of the FA Cup is automatically entered in the Charity Shield.
