Kidderminster knocked Doncaster out of the FA Cup with a commanding 3-0 victory, while seventh-tier Guiseley struck deep into stoppage time to send Sutton United out of the first round.

There were goals in abundance elsewhere on Saturday afternoon. Bradford beat Marine 7-0, Barnsley defeated Aldershot 7-2 and Salisbury reached the second round for the first time with a 6-0 win over Sholing.

Exeter also produced an upset, winning 2-1 at League One leaders Huddersfield.

Kidderminster leave Doncaster without an answer

National League side Kidderminster took control at Aggborough through first-half goals from Lewis Walker and Maz Kouhyar, before David Davis completed the scoring after the break.

Walker opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, with Kouhyar doubling the advantage in the 36th. Davis made it three in the 59th minute, leaving Doncaster with a deficit they could not recover.

The match timeline records a late save from Isaac Hutchinson as Doncaster searched for a response, but the hosts preserved their clean sheet to complete an emphatic win.

Guiseley substitute delivers stoppage-time winner

Guiseley left their breakthrough much later at Nethermoor Park, where substitute Jordan Thewlis converted a penalty in the fifth minute of added time to beat Sutton 1-0.

Thewlis had only entered the game in the 78th minute. He then won the decisive spot-kick after a foul by Alex Kirk, before finding the bottom-left corner.

Goalkeeper Jack Hall had saved from Omar Mussa shortly before the penalty. Within minutes, Guiseley had turned a goalless contest into a memorable victory over opponents from two divisions above.

Bradford and Barnsley score seven

Nick Powell and Adam Phillips scored twice each as Bradford overwhelmed Marine at Valley Parade.

Powell’s goals in the 10th and 16th minutes gave the hosts an early grip on the tie. Phillips added the third before Matthew Pennington made it 4-0 at the interval.

Will Swan and George Lapslie extended the lead after the break, with Phillips completing the scoring in the 87th minute.

Barnsley also finished with seven goals, beating Aldershot 7-2. York won 4-0 against Northampton, while Mansfield ended Macclesfield’s involvement with a 3-0 victory.

Exeter upset Huddersfield as Chesterfield escape late

Charlie Cummins scored Exeter’s winner at Huddersfield after Ibane Bowat had cancelled out Jack Taylor’s early opener.

Chesterfield needed an 89th-minute Joel Randall goal to beat Yeovil 4-3. The visitors had recovered from 3-1 down to draw level before Randall settled the tie.

Wigan avoided an upset at National League leaders Boreham Wood, winning 3-0 through Jon Mellish and a Morgan Fox double.

Salisbury’s 6-0 victory over Sholing brought a first second-round appearance in front of a record crowd of 3,450. Nathan Odokonyero scored twice.

Elsewhere, Carlisle beat Salford 1-0, Leyton Orient defeated Harborough Town 5-1 and AFC Fylde won 4-1 at Harrogate.
