UK Open 2027 qualifiers: How to enter and win one of 16 amateur places
The PDC has confirmed the Amateur Qualifier Series for the 2027 UK Open, with 16 places up for grabs through PDC In The Community venues across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
UK Open 2027 qualifiers begin on Saturday 7 November, with 16 amateur places available for the tournament at Butlin’s Minehead Resort.
The PDC has confirmed a series of local qualifying events for players hoping to reach the Ladbrokes UK Open from 5-7 March 2027.
All 16 places will come through PDC In The Community venues. England has 13 qualifying routes, with one place each available through Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
How to enter the UK Open 2027 qualifiers
Players must enter directly through their chosen host venue using the contact details in the PDC’s official qualifier announcement.
Each route has pre-qualifying events followed by a final qualifying round. The winner of that final earns a place at Minehead.
Contact the venue to confirm entry arrangements, fees, registration times and any local age restrictions before travelling. A Finals Day date is not an entry deadline or an invitation to turn up without qualifying.
Who can enter the amateur qualifiers?
The PDC’s Amateur Qualifier Series rules set the minimum age at 16, although individual venues may require players to be 18 because of licensing restrictions.
PDC Tour Card holders and players already qualified for the 2027 UK Open cannot enter. Players who attend 2027 Q-School without winning a Tour Card can enter as PDPA Associate Members.
Players may enter more than one qualifying event. Successful qualifiers must be available for the UK Open and are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
