Newcastle will be without Joelinton and the suspended Jacob Ramsey against Fulham, leaving Matthias Jaissle short of central midfield options.

Fulham vs Newcastle takes place at Craven Cottage on Saturday 7 November 2026, with kick-off at 3pm GMT.

Newcastle confirm Joelinton setback

Jaissle’s official team-news update confirms Joelinton is unavailable. The club is assessing his treatment plan and has not established a return date in that update.

Ramsey serves a one-match suspension after his dismissal against Everton. Lewis Miley is improving following injury, while Matias Fernandez-Pardo has returned to training after a virus; both still require an availability check.

The Shields Gazette also lists Ewen Jaouen and Tino Livramento as sidelined. Training progress should not be presented as clearance to start.

Fulham: Sessegnon status needs confirmation

Ryan Sessegnon’s suspension status is inconsistent across the available listings: The Stats Zone expects him to return, while an injury database still marks him unavailable. Fulham’s final team update is needed before calling him either available or ruled out.

The main confirmed change to the contest is Newcastle’s midfield shortage. It increases the importance of Nico Gonzalez and Joe Willock, with Sean Steur a possible option.
