Viktor Gyökeres has strengthened his case with a goal and assist in Prague, but Kai Havertz is our narrow pick to lead Arsenal’s attack against Hull.

Arsenal vs Hull takes place at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday 7 November 2026, with kick-off at 3pm GMT.

These are predicted line-ups, not confirmed team sheets. The selections below are our assessment of the available team news.

Arsenal predicted XI

4-2-3-1: Raya; Timber, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori; Guimaraes, Rice; Madueke, Odegaard, Tzolis; Havertz.

We have selected Mosquera while Konsa’s availability remains uncertain. Saliba is another possibility after returning to the squad. The Standard’s selection update highlights those defensive decisions and the competition on the left of the attack.

Hull predicted XI

5-4-1: Tzolakis; Coyle, Egan, Mendy, Ajayi, Giles; Belloumi, Slater, Iroegbunam, Stroud; McBurnie.

That shape follows the available Hull forecast. It would give the visitors numbers across the back line, with McBurnie asked to hold the ball and allow support to arrive. Butland’s return to fitness does not automatically mean a change in goal.
