West Brom vs Birmingham brings a Midlands derby to Saturday’s Championship schedule, with Albion looking to respond to defeat at Wolves before the international break.

Birmingham arrive after drawing 2-2 with Middlesbrough, having won 2-1 at Derby in their previous away match.

Here is how to follow the meeting at The Hawthorns.

When is West Brom vs Birmingham?

The match takes place on Saturday 10 October, with kick-off at 12.30pm BST.

It is one of three lunchtime Championship fixtures, alongside Charlton against Bristol City and Swansea against Norwich.

What TV channel is West Brom vs Birmingham on?

The derby will be shown live on Sky Sports Football in the UK, as confirmed by Sky’s Championship listings.

Eligible subscribers can stream the match through Sky Go. NOW also provides access with an appropriate Sports membership.

How are the teams shaping up?

Albion’s last five league matches brought two wins, two draws and a defeat. Their most recent outing ended in a 1-0 loss at Wolves.

Birmingham have drawn three of their past five league games, with a victory at Derby and defeat at Norwich completing that sequence.

Last season’s two league meetings between these clubs both finished level. Albion drew 1-1 at home in November before February’s return at St Andrew’s ended goalless.

That recent history offers little separation, although Birmingham’s win on their last away trip gives them encouragement before another derby.

Confirmed starting line-ups will be available on matchday.

The game forms part of a weekend that also includes Southampton against Portsmouth. Saints manager Tonda Eckert remains available to take charge following his suspended ban over the Spygate case.
