Bournemouth’s substitutes take the top marks after Evanilson, Tyler Adams and Rayan turned a difficult night in Prague into a 3-1 Europa League victory.

Lewis Cook missed a penalty before Ebrima Singhateh put Sparta ahead. Tobias Guddal’s dismissal gave the visitors an opening, and all three goals came from players Marco Rose had named among his substitutes.

Evanilson gets our highest rating for scoring the winner and supplying the third. Here are Dave.sport’s Bournemouth player ratings.

Bournemouth player ratings: starting XI

Michele Di Gregorio — 6/10

Made two saves, including one from Andy Irving. Beaten by Singhateh after Bournemouth were opened up on the counter.

Adam Smith — 4/10

Singhateh got past him for the opener. Replaced at half-time as Rose changed the balance of the side.

James Hill — 6/10

Forced a save after the break, although an ambitious long-range attempt went over. No decisive contribution at either end.

Bafodé Diakité — 7/10

A threat at set-pieces, forcing Surovcik to save a header before the break. Also had a close-range effort blocked late on.

Julio Soler — 6/10

Found Gannon-Doak for a blocked attempt before the interval. Made way for Truffert on the hour.

Lewis Cook — 4/10

Hit the post from the penalty spot and failed to stop Singhateh’s break for the opener. Two costly moments.

Ryan Christie — 7/10

His assist for Evanilson’s winner earns a strong mark. An early booking made his evening more complicated, but he delivered when needed.

Amine Adli — 5/10

Missed the target from inside the area and was booked before coming off. A frustrating opportunity to impress.

David Brooks — 6/10

Created a headed chance for Diakité and tested Surovcik himself. Some useful contributions before Rayan replaced him.

Ben Gannon-Doak — 6/10

Drew Guddal’s first booking and forced a save. Offered a threat without finding the breakthrough.

Álvaro Rodríguez — 6/10

Won the foul that brought Guddal’s dismissal. Had chances of his own, but could not turn them into a goal.

Bournemouth substitute ratings

Tyler Adams — 8/10

The half-time introduction paid off with Adams’ equaliser from outside the box. He also created two second-half chances for Rodríguez.

Evanilson — 9/10

Our player of the match. Scored the crucial second goal, then set up Rayan. A decisive return from half an hour’s work.

Marcus Tavernier — 7/10

Created Brooks’ saved attempt soon after coming on. A useful contribution alongside the more eye-catching goals from his fellow substitutes.

Adrien Truffert — 6/10

Replaced Soler during the triple change. Played his part in the turnaround without a direct goal contribution.

Rayan — 8/10

Put the result beyond doubt with the third goal. An emphatic contribution from the last of Rose’s five substitutes.

Unused substitutes: Petrovic, Allan, António Silva and Justin Kluivert.
